Introducing Success Beyond Sight
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Success Beyond Sight website.
Success Beyond Sight, a 501 C 3, nonprofit corporation, was established January 2019 by ACVREP, a 501 C 6, nonprofit certification organization, in order to address key issues that impact individuals who are blind or have low vision and the professionals who provide services to them. As a 501 C 3, Success Beyond Sight is able to accept charitable donations from corporations and individuals and is eligible to apply for grants to support its Mission.
Our Purpose
Building alliances and educating to ensure access to success
- Raise the Bar - Educate key national, state and local government decision makers about vision loss and the critical need to ensure high standards of service delivery to individuals who are blind or have low vision so that they may enjoy independent living, employment and be fully included in community life.
- Team Up! - Collaborate and partner with other organizations to overcome barriers to be fully included in community and professional life for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
- Build Capacity - Engage high school and college students to raise awareness of the rewarding profession of providing services for individuals who are blind or have low vision and the variety of specializations that are available in this field.
- Elevate - Make access to affordable continuing education easier and create evidence-based practice guidelines for professionals providing services to individuals who are blind or have low vision.
